Privacy Policy

Everborn is Pre-Alpha software. This policy describes what we collect and do today — it will be revised as the game develops.

What we collect

If you choose to sign in, we use Google Sign-In to authenticate you. Google provides us with your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier — we do not see or store your Google password. We request only basic identity information; we do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service.

Once signed in, we create an Everborn account (a username and profile) linked to your Google identity, and store the gameplay data associated with that account (such as creatures, progress, and in-game resources) if and when you choose to use account-based features.

Everborn also has a local, browser-only game mode that does not require signing in at all — progress in that mode is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.

How we use it

Your Google identity information is used solely to authenticate you and associate an Everborn account with you. Gameplay data is used to run the game — showing your creatures and progress back to you, and nothing else.

What we don't do

We do not sell your Google account information or gameplay data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Security and logging

We take reasonable, standard precautions to protect account and gameplay data (such as restricting database access and not logging credentials or session tokens), but as Pre-Alpha software, Everborn has not undergone formal security certification or independent audit, and we do not claim compliance with any specific security or privacy standard.

Account and data deletion

Because Everborn is Pre-Alpha, account data (including saves and progress tied to your account) may be reset as the game evolves. If you would like your account or associated data deleted before then, contact us and we will process the request manually — a dedicated in-app deletion flow does not exist yet at this stage.

Changes

As Everborn moves through Pre-Alpha and toward a public release, this policy will be updated to reflect new functionality (such as expanded account features or a Market system). Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
